Contract staffing services in India

Contract staffing lets you add headcount against a live production or project requirement without expanding your permanent rolls. A1 Hiring holds its own CLRA licence, keeps the workers on our books, and hands you an inspection-ready compliance file every month.

The real problem

Why this usually goes wrong

Plants lose output because a sanctioned headcount takes eleven weeks to clear. Contract staffing collapses that to days — but only if the contractor is genuinely licenced. Most aren't, and the liability lands back on you as principal employer.

FAQ

Questions buyers actually ask

Is contract staffing legal in India?

Yes, under the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970, provided the contractor holds a valid licence and the principal employer holds registration for the contract headcount engaged. A1 Hiring maintains its own licence and shares the copy before deployment.

Who is liable if the contractor doesn't pay PF?

The principal employer. Section 21 of the CLRA Act makes you liable for wages the contractor defaults on, and PF authorities can recover contributions from you. This is exactly why we share monthly challans unprompted.

How is contract staffing billed?

On actual man-days worked, with a transparent break-up of gross wage, statutory employer contributions and service fee. No per-CV charges.

What is the minimum headcount you take on?

We run mandates from 10 workers upward. Below that, permanent recruitment is usually the cheaper route and we'll say so.

How fast can workers be deployed?

Median first shift is day 7 for standard roles in our active cities. Skilled roles such as CNC operators typically run 9–14 days.
